Activities began with drag races on Friday from 11 am-5pm at the Eureka Airport for all cars and motorcycles.  There were no time clocks, no time slips - just a fun day of grudge racing. We had a great turnout of spectators and vehicles.  There were 30 dragsters even with weather that was not perfect.  We want to give special thanks to John and Vincie Walzl for their help at the Eureka Airport facilitating the drag races.

The Main Street “Cruise-in” was be Friday evening. DJ Bill Micheli provided music and entertainment both Friday and Saturday.  The car show and the concurrent Highway 50 yard sale will display along both sides of Eureka’s historic Main Street on Saturday.  The free mini-train and bounce castle for kids was at the Eureka Fire House.  Cash prizes & awards were given at a no-host award dinner Saturday evening at the Owl Club followed by a Sock Hop.

Here is a neat story from a visitor for the 2012 show.

"We as a family loved the show and hope to come back next year! Thanks for all the hospitality and my father in-law said the show brought back a bunch of memories.  We asked the lady that owns Sheldon's grandmas old house and she let us take a picture in front of her house just like the picture Sheldon has from June of 1958 with the same truck when he bought it new. A huge thanks again for the Awards and having so many great cars in your historic town."
